Adds much more of Discord to the discord module: your account, the call you're in, audio devices and voice settings, with controls to match. Microphone and camera usage on Linux now names the apps from PipeWire.
Moved
input_volumeandoutput_volumein thediscorddata are nowinput.volumeandoutput.volume. Update any automations or templates that read them. TheDISCORD_CONTROLactions and theirvalueare unchanged.
Discord
- Add
user: the account's ID, username, display name and avatar. Updates when you change them. - Add
call: the voice channel and server you're in, your connection state and ping, and your state in the call (nickname, server mute and deafen, suppress and speaking). It'snullwhen you're not in a call. - Add
inputandoutputwith the volume, selected device and available devices, plusmode,processing,qosandsilence_warning. - Add
DISCORD_CONTROLactions to join and leave voice channels, open a text channel, set the input and output device, voice mode, sensitivity and push to talk delay, and turn QoS and the silence warning on or off. - Discord ignores changes to automatic sensitivity, noise suppression, echo cancellation and automatic gain control over RPC, so those are data only.
See Data → discord and Control → Discord control.
Linux
- Name the apps using the microphone and camera from PipeWire, instead of showing
pipewire. Falls back to ALSA when PipeWire isn't available. - Recommend PipeWire in the Arch, Debian and RPM packages, for the above.
- Document the optional Linux dependencies in the install docs and README.
CLI
client data watchkeeps the backend's field order.
