Adds Discord voice control, and runs the system tray on the main thread for macOS.
Discord
- Connect to the Discord desktop app to read and change mute, deafen and input and output volume (#4395). The new
discorddata module reports the state, and the newDISCORD_CONTROLWebSocket event changes it. - Setup needs a Discord application you own. See Running → Discord. Nothing connects to Discord until you set it up, and the
discordmodule only appears then.
System tray
- Run the system tray on the main thread, which macOS requires (#4394). The backend now runs alongside it.
Docs
- Add a Privacy and security page covering everything System Bridge sends, receives and stores.
Dependencies
- Update Go to 1.27.2 and golang.org/x/sys to 0.49.0 (#4392, #4393, #4396).
- Add go-winio 0.6.3 for the Discord named pipe on Windows.
Maintenance
- Serve the backend, web client and docs through Pitchfork with proxy addresses during development.
- Run checks and builds in parallel through mise, and make Oxlint strict through its config.
- Update Oxlint to 1.87.0, Node.js to 26.11.1, wrangler to 4.148.0, the shared workflows and the CI Ubuntu image.
New contributors
- @joostlek made their first contributions with the macOS system tray fix in #4394 and Discord voice control in #4395. Thanks!
