Real widescreen: the game now runs in 16:9 by default and the camera shows more of the scene. Plus smoother HD
textures far away.

Download and play

1. Download UrbanReignPC-1.2.0.zip below and extract it anywhere. Coming from 1.1.x? Replacing
   Urban Reign.exe, game\urban.exe and game\pcsx2gs.dll is enough.
2. Open Urban Reign.exe.
3. In the Game tab, pick your own Urban Reign disc image (USA, SLUS-21209, .iso). The game is not included.
4. Press PLAY.

What's new

• Real widescreen (16:9), on by default: Urban Reign has its own hidden 16:9 mode. The port turns it on, so you
  get more of the scene on the sides instead of a stretched 4:3. The game also moves parts of the HUD and plays the
  wide versions of the intro videos. The port fixes the camera's proportion too: the game's own 16:9 mode left
  everything about 7% too wide.
• Prefer the original picture? In the launcher's Video tab, set Aspect ratio to 4:3, or put
  AspectRatio=4:3 in game\config.ini under [Video]. As in the game's menu lets the game's Options menu
  decide. Keep Stretch to the window off for the right proportion on ultrawide monitors.
• HD textures without moiré far away: since 1.1.2 far floors used the full size HD texture, and fine patterns
  (like the dojo mat) showed wavy lines. HD textures without mipmaps (PNG) now get them generated when they load,
  and the graphics card picks the right level.

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), a DirectX 11 graphics card, a CPU with SSE4.1 and the
Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (already in Windows 11 and in
an up-to-date Windows 10).

Baixar e jogar

1. Baixe o UrbanReignPC-1.2.0.zip abaixo e extraia em qualquer pasta. Vindo da 1.1.x? Basta trocar o
   Urban Reign.exe, o game\urban.exe e o game\pcsx2gs.dll.
2. Abra o Urban Reign.exe.
3. Na aba Jogo, escolha a sua imagem do Urban Reign (EUA, SLUS-21209, .iso). O jogo não vem junto.
4. Aperte JOGAR.

O que há de novo

• Widescreen de verdade (16:9), ligado por padrão: o Urban Reign tem um modo 16:9 próprio, escondido. O port
  liga ele, então aparece mais cenário dos lados em vez de um 4:3 esticado. O jogo também ajusta partes do HUD e
  passa as versões wide dos vídeos de abertura. O port ainda corrige a proporção da câmera: o modo 16:9 do jogo
  deixava tudo uns 7% largo demais.
• Prefere a imagem original? Na aba Vídeo do launcher, em Proporção, escolha 4:3, ou coloque
  AspectRatio=4:3 no game\config.ini, em [Video]. Como no menu do jogo deixa o menu Options do jogo decidir.
  Deixe Esticar para a janela desligado para a proporção certa em monitores ultrawide.
• Texturas HD sem moiré de longe: desde a 1.1.2 os pisos distantes usavam a textura HD em tamanho cheio, e
  tramas finas (como o tatame do dojo) mostravam linhas onduladas. As texturas HD sem mipmaps (PNG) agora ganham
  mipmaps gerados ao carregar, e a placa de vídeo escolhe o nível certo.

Requisitos

Windows 10 ou 11 (64 bits), placa de vídeo com DirectX 11, processador com SSE4.1 e o
Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (já vem no Windows 11 e no
Windows 10 atualizado).
