macOS Code Signing & Notarization
macOS builds are now signed with a Developer ID Application certificate and notarized through Apple. This means:
- No more Gatekeeper warnings or quarantine flags
- Auto-update will work going forward
macOS users: one-time manual install required
Sorry for the hassle, and thank you for your patience! Because previous versions were unsigned, auto-update can't make the jump from unsigned to signed. You'll need to manually download and install this version. After that, future updates will auto-update as expected.
What's changed
- macOS builds signed with Developer ID Application certificate
- Apple notarization for Gatekeeper approval
- Hardened runtime with entitlements for native addon compatibility
