What's new
- Recently Added cards now open the matching movie, series, or grouped show directly in Jellyfin.
- Recently Added automatically becomes a compact header while something is playing. You can expand it with Show and tuck it away again with Hide on desktop or mobile.
- Today's watch time, bandwidth, and transcoding now live in a compact Now Playing header. The old four-cell footer is gone, leaving more room for streams and Recently Added.
- Statistics has a clearer Week, Month, Year, and All time control. Any period can be saved as the installation-wide default view, so it follows Jellydash across browsers and devices.
- Android notifications now use a clean Jellydash jellyfish silhouette in the status bar instead of turning the full app icon into a dark square.
Polished along the way
- Now Playing no longer sends a second duplicate sessions request just to update its navigation count.
- Module asset cache busting now follows the changed asset itself, so private or third-party module updates cannot be hidden behind an older cached file.
- Recently Added links validate Jellyfin identifiers and URLs before becoming clickable. Unavailable or incomplete items remain safe, normal cards.
- Keyboard navigation inside the Recently Added shelf no longer captures arrow keys from its item links.
Upgrading from v1.3.x?
This release also includes everything added in v1.4.0:
- Browse movies, series, and episodes added during the last 14 days from the Recently Added shelf.
- See registered Jellyfin clients, recent device activity, active playback, client versions, and last users inside Statistics.
- Open Jellyfin's device management page directly from the Devices section.
- Turn Recently Added off from Settings if you prefer a simpler Now Playing page.
- Save changed settings from the reminder that appears as soon as the form is edited.
- Enjoy clearer Tabler icons and the mobile layout improvements throughout Now Playing and Statistics.
