v1.14.0: Server Activity and more Statistics drilldowns
This update adds a dedicated Server Activity page and more links from Statistics into History.
Server Activity
Open Server Activity in the sidebar to see your Jellyfin server details, running maintenance tasks, recent task results and activity events. Filter activity by date, event type, severity or user/system source. Open Jellyfin uses the same button style as Statistics.
With Jellydash login enabled, owners and admins can open the page. It uses the existing Jellyfin connection, and the configured credential must be allowed to read system information, scheduled tasks and the activity log. The page only reads Jellyfin; starting or stopping tasks stays in Jellyfin itself.
Activity snapshots contain up to 1,000 events within a five-second request budget. Filters and counts describe the events loaded, so older matches may be missing. A notice appears when the snapshot is incomplete. Older pages keep the same snapshot while you browse; Refresh returns to the first page. Recent task results show the latest execution of each task, rather than a full execution history.
See the Server Activity guide for access, refresh behavior and limits.
More Statistics drilldowns
The existing Statistics links now also include:
- Watch-time totals, including estimated totals from older history, open the displayed period in History.
- Day, month and year watch-time bars open their corresponding calendar period.
- Source video codecs and transcoding reasons open matching plays, including the members grouped under Other.
Codec and reason filters stay selected through History pagination, filter changes, export previews and CSV exports. Clear one scope to keep the other filters, or choose all History in the export dialog to clear the selection. Watch-time calculations still assign each play to the period in which it started.
Updating
No new configuration or manual database import is needed. Update Compose installations as usual:
docker compose pull && docker compose up -dFor a pinned image, use ghcr.io/themartz90/jellydash:1.14.0. On Unraid, use the normal container update.
