Improvement

• Fat filesystem now supports folders
• Automatically detect the browser language: On the first visit, it automatically matches the supported language (en, fr, zh) based on the browser settings by MeatSuger
  (PR #96).
• Serial monitor start button now shows a loading indicator while the monitor is being initialized
• Delay removed for the connection dialog
• Connect dialog now displays localized status updates while the bootloader workflow runs

macOS Apple Silicon:

Open the DMG and drag ESPConnect to Applications. First launch: Right-click → Open (to bypass Gatekeeper).

macOS Intel:

Download and run the .exe installer. Windows Defender may show a warning on first launch - click "More info" → "Run anyway".

Linux (Debian/Ubuntu):

sudo dpkg -i espconnect_1.1.4_amd64.deb

Linux (Fedora/RHEL):

sudo rpm -i espconnect-1.1.4.x86_64.rpm

Web UI (static files):

Serve the dist/ Folder, you may use any of the following options:

 Option A — Node “serve”

cd dist
npx serve .

 Option B — Python 3

🔌 USB Serial Permissions (Linux)

Add your user to the dialout group:

sudo usermod -a -G dialout $USER

Then log out and back in.
