My Work: focus areas, and requests that file themselves

Focus areas are the top level of My Work (#5131)

  • MY FOCUS rail. Your focus areas are listed in priority order, with a needs-you count on each. Every request sits in exactly one area, or in Other. On phones the areas appear as a chip row.
  • Area header. Each area page shows its goal sentence, combined progress, your own quotes, the asks you haven't started yet, and a link to Past focus. The My Goals page is retired; its content now lives here.
  • Suggested. New areas appear here by themselves. You can Keep, Rename, Merge or Dismiss each one, with Undo. Your decisions sync across computers and a refresh never overrides them.
  • Owner-goals sorts what it mines. It applies three tests in order, so each statement becomes exactly one focus area, ask or rule. Priorities and open asks no longer duplicate each other.
  • The Focus step replaces Align in the automatic refresh. It places every request, and it proposes new areas from Other or from a request that holds several separate asks.
  • Request cards. Every card shows its area, and request detail has Move to…. "What came out of it" is now called Deliverables.

The judge files new conversations under their request (#5110)

  • Before any grouping agent runs, each new conversation is filed: a code link (the same work-state list or request_id) joins at once. On CMEM Pro, or with your own OpenRouter key, Jev also checks whether the conversation continues one of your open requests. At a check score of 0.8 or more it joins. Between 0.5 and 0.8 you get a Join / Not this suggestion on the card. Otherwise it starts its own request.
  • Focus areas too. On the same installs, Jev suggests a focus area for each request before the Focus step runs. The pick is only a hint to the Focus agent for now: automatic placement waits until enough of your own moves exist to calibrate a cutoff.
  • Without Jev, everything works as before.

A request keeps its conversations across project roots (#5106)

  • A request whose decision names its project root keeps conversations from other roots, and later refreshes can still add to it.

Fixes

  • The sync-api query-plan test applies its own schema, so it no longer fails depending on test order.

CMEM Pro: the Jev decisions gateway (/api/inference/v1/decisions) is live for Pro subscribers.
