Fill in missing activity
The new Add missing activity flow is available on Timeline & Map and in Trip Workspace - see #646
- Fill missing time with one or more visits or trips.
- Choose places on the map and enter times directly, or use recorded GPS timestamps.
- Add a trip’s start, destination, and optional route points. Manual routes appear as dashed lines with estimated distances.
- Review your changes before saving. Your recorded GPS data stays unchanged.
Performance
- Full timeline regeneration is substantially faster: a 2.5× speedup was measured in the maintainer’s setup with 400,000 GPS points.
- Lower memory use during timeline generation, making large location histories more efficient to process.
- The Timeline page loads faster, with additional improvements to map paths, map matching, and statistics.
