Release notes for version 1.1.1

Features

  • Improved Import Job Status Display
The data import process has been significantly enhanced to provide better feedback to the user:

    • A new file upload progress bar shows the real-time status of the upload.
    • The import process is now broken down into distinct stages (uploading, processing, timeline generation) for better clarity.
    • The system will now resume tracking the status of an import even if you navigate away from the page.
  • Added IPv6 support for Nginx frontend
The Nginx configuration has been updated to listen on IPv6 addresses, making the frontend accessible to users on IPv6 networks.

  • Increased Data Gap limits in Timeline Preferences
The maximum data gap threshold has been increased to 24 hours for the slider and 7 days for the manual input in the timeline preferences. This allows for better visualization of journeys with long breaks in GPS tracking.

  • Increased default timeout for AI requests from 1 minute to 10 minutes.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed AI Settings Saving
A bug has been fixed that caused the OpenAI API key to be accidentally deleted when updating other AI-related settings. Your API key will now be correctly preserved.
  • Removed limit for Visited Cities in Journey Insights
The 10-city limit has been removed from the Journey Insights page. Now, all visited cities will be displayed, providing a more complete overview of your travels.
  • Fixed issue Caused by: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: PreparedStatement can have at most 65,535 parameters. Please consider using arrays, or splitting the query in several ones, or using COPY. Given query has 73,347 parameters which might happen during timeline generation.

Documentation

  • Fixed wrong URL in SETUP.md
The setup guide for Overland has been corrected to show the proper server URL.
