This is a beta pre-release in the 0.8.0 line. Change since v0.8.0b4:

Fixed

• Fresh conversations are no longer reported as follow-ups. A null-conversation
  ask now checks whether the server-assigned current conversation has any turns
  before setting AskResult.is_follow_up (#1973).

Install with pip install --pre notebooklm-py==0.8.0b5. Full 0.8.0 cycle changelog: CHANGELOG.md.
