7.8.0
H6102 experimental support
Adds the exact H6102 scene catalogue and revision-qualified Effect Studio support,
including Single/Mixed, native DIY and Advanced effects. Static controls, segments,
music and settings use independent Pact/hardware/firmware qualification rather
than treating H6102 as an H617A alias. Existing entry identity and saved documents
are preserved; exact-model scene references are not silently converted.
H6102 remains Experimental, included in this stable release with explicit
maintainer approval. Physical H6102 owner qualification is still outstanding.
Unknown physical geometry restricts dependent authoring; legacy A1 DIY and 0B RGB
remain unavailable. See docs/h6102-application-findings.md for evidence and limits.
Shared fixes and validation
- Preserve effective device profiles through compilation, notification parsing,
reconnects, physical writes and recovery. - Preserve static-state distinctions and reject restoration that cannot reproduce
captured state; protect overwritten effect slots and retained music edits. - Load the encryption schema during integration import rather than advertisement
processing, avoiding a blocking import on Home Assistant's event loop. - Recognise H6199 A3/04 upload acknowledgements without treating them as state.
The preceding RC passed live H617A and H6199 checks for basic/segment controls,
scenes, music and Studio preview/save/edit/apply, with fresh BLE readback and
original-state restoration. The diagnostic fixes have regression coverage;
uploaded-body equality and visual/audio behaviour are not implied by readback.
Requires Home Assistant 2026.9 or newer. Restart Home Assistant after updating.
