H6099 Experimental Release Candidate
Requires Home Assistant 2026.9.0 or newer. This is an experimental H6099 candidate, not owner-qualified support.
Changes
- Adds evidence-selected encrypted BLE sessions, including the V1 negotiation indicated by the previous H6099 diagnostics. Failed negotiation never falls back to plaintext.
- Corrects H6099 DIY activation and Kelvin readback; adds Basic, Mixed, and physical-IC-aware Graffiti authoring.
- Adds model-specific music parameters and editable palettes, with complete-upload retries and truthful readback confidence.
- Adds Wi-Fi-firmware-gated black-border removal, guarded blank-screen policy editing, and H6099 video calibration and saturation bounds.
- Adds installation-direction and camera-health actions, plus service-only DreamView for up to seven members.
- Preserves the exact-SKU 240-scene catalogue and documents global feature exclusions.
Qualification Notes
The previous H6099 RC stopped before command transmission when encryption was advertised. This candidate implements negotiation; successful operation on the owner's device remains to be established.
After publication, install the exact RC through HACS and restart Home Assistant. Existing H6099 entries can be reused; for a new entry use manual model selection if discovery does not offer it. Try basic controls first and capture immediate redacted diagnostics if setup or a control fails. Do not share addresses, serial numbers, account details, or unredacted logs.
Music companion settings and palettes have no complete readback. V2 encryption currently supports only 16-byte tags and sufficiently large unfragmented ATT packets. Advanced/Workshop application remains unavailable.
Do not replace an existing DreamView group unless you accept that its prior membership cannot be read back or automatically restored. Locally authored membership is not confirmed device membership.
