Effect Studio preview update
This prerelease extends the native Home Assistant Effect Studio and tightens its protocol-evidence boundaries.
Added and improved
- Lossless H617A Type 1 palette-scene decoding, structural inspection and saved copies.
- Evidence-safe previews classified as deterministic, structural or opaque.
- Exact Painted segment previews without speculative device animation.
- Conservative Single, Multi and layered previews that preserve raw unknown values.
- Simplified effect creation, automatic recovery and clearer unavailable-device errors.
- Restart-free frontend deployment tooling after one backend activation restart.
- Portable storage and shared application seams for a future standalone localhost host.
Deliberate limits
- Saved or edited palette and layered scenes cannot be applied to hardware yet.
- H6199 custom-effect writes remain disabled.
- Uncaptured special DIY templates remain opaque until their payload grammar is evidenced in Kaitai.
- Timing and movement previews remain structural where protocol values are ordinal or uncalibrated.
- This remains a prerelease intended for H617A validation before stable publication.
