v2.8.3 for Windows and Linux is out now, and includes many new features and improvements and is highly recommended over earlier versions. Of significant note is the addition of a new tab for Base64 encoded data. See the user manual and release notes for more details.
Currently the new version is out for Windows and Linux only. I'll get an Apple Mac OSX package built ASAP (a few days). Hopefully Debian packages will follow shortly. @darealshinji usually packages the Deb files for me and does a great job of it. When done, I'll upload them to the website as usual.
