v2.8.0 is out now and is available for download. In addition to precompiled Linux 32 and 64 bit binaries, there's also two DEB packages for easy installation.
A Windows executable is available for both 32 and 64 systems, and an Apple Mac OSX one will follow as soon as I get round to dusting off my ten year old Apple Mac system! It's always a hassle compiling the OSX version!
