🚀 RVClient Voice Chat — v1.7.77 (Update)

New in-game voice & text chat, plus a big round of fixes: bots & takeovers, team modes, server crashes, games that wouldn't start and the Servers page.

🎙️ New: voice & text chat in game

• Voice panel — press F9 (or hold View / Create on a controller) to see who's nearby, who's speaking and who's out of range, and mute / unmute anyone. Muting hides their voice and their text chat. Move with Up / Down, toggle with Enter (A on a controller); it closes itself after 20 seconds untouched.
• Chat box — press / to type without leaving the game. Tab switches between Global and Nearby, Enter sends, Esc cancels.
• Chat stays visible even when the game window isn't focused (handy in windowed mode).
• A Show text chat switch in the voice panel hides or shows the chat.

🎮 Game won't start

• Black screen, then a crash on Play — on some PCs (often Intel graphics) the game can't start with Vulkan. The launcher now notices and switches to DirectX 11 for you, and back again if DirectX 11 is the one that fails.

🤖 Bots & taking over a match in progress

• Ring timer — after taking over a bot, the ring countdown at the top of the screen now shows, like it does for everyone who launched from the barge.
• Replays — a player who took over a bot is no longer shown as OUT in the replay while they're still playing.
• No more falling under the map right after a takeover.
• Fair stats — a match you joined by taking over a bot stays in your match history but no longer changes your lifetime stats or leaderboard spot.
• Barge — no more players snapping back on the barge while their outfit loads.

🛠️ Servers

• Fewer server crashes — three crashes fixed, including one that could take a server down mid-match.
• A second Duos / Trios / Squads server is no longer restarted right after it starts.

👥 Duos, Trios & Squads

• The last team standing wins — a match where only your team was left could keep going until you were knocked out. It now ends and gives you Top 1.

🖥️ Servers page

• "0 / 40" during a match — a server playing a match while its next lobby was empty showed 0 players. It now shows the players left in the match, plus anyone waiting in the next lobby.

🎙️ Voice fix

• Knocked-out players no longer flicker in and out of your Nearby list.

⚙️ Updates

• Version 1.7.77 in Client.dll and the launcher, on Windows, Linux and Mac. Includes everything from 1.7.76.
• rVclient won't open? Open Command Prompt as administrator, run taskkill /F /T /IM rVclient.exe, then start rVclient again.

📥 Updating

Open the launcher and go to Settings → Updates → Check for updates. Accept the update and it restarts itself on 1.7.77 and installs everything. Or download the latest version at https://rvclient.com.
