🍎 Mac

• Graphics check before Play — if your Wine setup is missing the DirectX 11 graphics part (the "D3D11-compatible GPU is required" error), the launcher now tells you exactly how to fix it for your setup (CrossOver, the free Wine, or Whisky) instead of the game just failing to start.
• Setup fix — the Mac setup now downloads the right DirectX 11 graphics package (it was picking the wrong one for some Macs).

🔧 Under the hood

• Launcher hardening — behind-the-scenes security and stability improvements.
• The version shown in the sidebar and on Home always matches your newest installed version; hover it to see both the launcher and Client.dll version.

⚙️ Updates

• Version 1.7.70 (launcher). Client.dll is unchanged from 1.7.69, so there's no game-file re-download.
• rVclient won't open? Open Command Prompt as administrator, run taskkill /F /T /IM rVclient.exe, then start rVclient again.

📥 Updating

Open the launcher and go to Settings → Updates → Check for updates. Accept the update and it restarts itself on 1.7.70. Or download the latest version at https://rvclient.com.
