v1.7.7 (Current Build) - Bug patch: Voice could leak outside a real match, and names could reset
- Fixed: voice could stay live (hearing/being heard by others) during a gap where your
character momentarily has no valid pawn - a death/respawn transition, or areas like
Collectible World that weren't already covered by the main-menu fix. Voice now mutes
itself the instant this happens and un-mutes automatically the moment you're back with
a valid character - no restart or reconnect needed. - Fixed: a player's name could reset to a generic "Player " placeholder even though
they never actually left the shared voice room - caused by the fix above being too
aggressive the first time it shipped internally: it cleared the same "who's in the
room" name list a real disconnect uses, but a brief local pawn gap isn't a real
disconnect, so that name list should never have been touched. Names are now preserved
correctly through this kind of gap. - Fixed: getting muted this way could also mean you couldn't hear a nearby player again
until they physically left and re-entered your voice range - same root cause as above,
now resolved together with it.
