One USA matchmaking pool, and parties stay together. USA lobbies now fill up together instead of splitting into small ones, and friends in a party land on the same team more reliably.

🎮 Gameplay
- Parties stay together — the game joins the match with the party matchmaking placed you in, and your party is no longer rebuilt while a match is being found.
🌎 Matchmaking
- One USA pool — USA East, Central and West now work as one shared USA region. You're placed in the USA lobby that already has players (the fullest first, the closest one on a tie, the nearest when they're all empty), so lobbies fill up instead of splitting. All the servers keep running, and Server Status still lists each one.
- Pick USA — the region list shows one USA row with your best ping. A saved USA East, West or Central pick now counts as USA, and anyone can pick it, wherever they are.
- Auto fills lobbies — Auto now prefers a lobby with players over an empty one nearby. If the lobbies near you are all empty, it can send you to one with players up to 150 ms away. While your own region's server is just restarting, it waits for it instead.
- Parties — matchmaking now looks at everyone's ping in your party, so the server it picks works for all of you. The party leader's region choice still decides.
- Fewer trips back to the lobby — if a server doesn't answer when you join, matchmaking stops sending players there for a moment and picks another one.
🍎 Mac
- Whisky / older Wine — voice chat now switches itself off there instead of crashing the game a few seconds after joining a match. For voice chat on a Mac, use CrossOver.
🔧 Other fixes
- Slower devices — on very slow PCs and devices that run the game through emulation, rVclient now waits up to 10 minutes for the game to start up (was 2) instead of giving up.
- Support — the logs now show which rVclient version and channel you're on, so we can help faster.
- Launcher — the launcher is now 1.7.69 too, and the version in the sidebar and on Home always shows your newest version. Hover it to see both the launcher and the Client.dll version; Settings lists both.
⚙️ Updates
- Version 1.7.69 in Client.dll, the launcher and
RVLauncherSetup.exe. Includes everything from 1.7.68: smoother performance in busy moments, and matches loading more reliably.- rVclient won't open? Open Command Prompt as administrator, run
taskkill /F /T /IM rVclient.exe, then start rVclient again.
📥 Updating
Open the launcher and go to Settings → Updates → Check for updates. Accept the update and it restarts itself on 1.7.69 and installs everything. Or download the latest version at https://rvclient.com.
