v1.7.41 - Update: more reliable game connection
Launcher
- The game connects more reliably when started from the launcher. Pressing Play right after opening the launcher could start the game before the launcher had finished connecting, and the game then couldn't connect either. Play now waits a few seconds for the launcher to connect, and if it still can't, tells you so (with a Play anyway option) instead of starting a game that can't connect.
- Safe Mode and
PLAY_RVCLIENT.batconnect more reliably too. Once you've signed in to the launcher on a PC, the game connects from that PC however you start it. - The launcher now uses the server address built into the game files for normal installs, so an outdated or mistyped setting can't point the game at the wrong server.
Game client (Client.dll)
- If the game can't connect to the rVclient server, it now writes the reason to
RVClient_v1.log(inRumbleverse\Binaries\Win64), so connection problems are easy to report.
Includes everything from v1.7.40.
