v1.7.32 - Lobby loading, voice chat, Discord & username fixes
Game client (Client.dll)
- Lobby loads on first launch - Battle Pass, Title Card (Game Records and your own Rumbler on the card), billboard notices and challenges now all load right away. No more quitting a match to get them to show up.
- Voice chat is back and works on new installs - voice, text chat and the launcher link run inside the game again, and a fresh install now creates its voice config in the right place (
Win64\archive\RVVoiceConfig.txt) with voice turned on. - No more load-in lag or launch freeze when voice chat and the launcher are running together.
- Discord Rich Presence shows on every PC, including while you are sitting in the menus.
Launcher
- Choose your own username - a fresh install starts blank, and the name you pick in Settings is the name used everywhere: launcher, friends, in-game and voice chat.
- Your name stays yours - fixed another player's name (e.g. "rfoster-gaming2") replacing yours in voice chat and the launcher.
- New setting: "Don't auto-add friends" (Settings > Game) - opt out of automatically added friends; friends you added yourself are kept.
- Play launches the game normally and no longer overwrites your game files every time.
- Discord Rich Presence is no longer wiped while the launcher stays open during play.
- Update check fixed - the launcher no longer reports your Client.dll as outdated when you are already on the newest version.
Installation
New install
- Download
rvclient-launcher.zip - Extract to your desired folder (e.g.
C:\rVclient) - Run
rVclient.exe, set your game path if asked, and choose your username in Settings - Press Play
Update an existing install
- Launcher users: the launcher offers the update itself - accept it and it restarts on 1.7.32 and installs the new game files.
- Mod only: download
RVClient-VoiceChat-v1.7.32.zipand extract it into your game'sRumbleverse\Binaries\Win64folder (overwrite). RunRVLauncherSetup.exeto get the updated launcher.
