v1.7.3 (Current Build) - Bug patch: Open mic could fire in the lobby
- Fixed: the open-mic icebreaker could open your mic while sitting at the
main menu/lobby/locker-room screen, before ever entering a match. Root
cause: the lobby has a real, possessed local pawn (the game's own
frontend character-preview setup), so "does a pawn exist" was not a
reliable "are we actually in a match" signal. Proximity/open-mic
detection now explicitly checks for the main menu screen and skips
entirely while it's visible, and every peer/open-mic tracking state is
force-cleared the instant you arrive at the lobby, so nothing "already
near this player" can ever carry over into a fresh session. - Fixed: a rare crash risk introduced by the above fix - the new lobby
check ran on a background thread not covered by the game's usual
crash-recovery guard, so a fault there could have taken down the whole
game instead of being safely skipped. Now covered by the same
guard-and-continue protection used elsewhere in the client.
