Server setup 2026.10.10

New community servers get everything from the start:

• Warm spare servers - setup opens UDP 7877-7881 in Windows Firewall next to 7777-7781 (a provider panel or router still needs them opened / forwarded by hand).
• Region check - your box measures its ping to each region at sign-up, so the region we see is the one players get.
• Guide updated - RAM per mode with warm spares and memory saving, the new rV Modes settings (Warm spare server, Auto barge countdown, Memory saving, Bots on teams).

The server itself always comes from the newest server kit (2026.10.10.2 now) - setup downloads it for you.

Already have a server? Nothing to download - your server updates itself through rV Modes / the admin panel. Make sure UDP 7877-7881 is open in your provider's firewall or router for the warm spares.

Get started

1. Download RVServer-Setup.zip below and extract it anywhere.
2. Read README.txt inside, then double-click Setup-RVServer.bat.
