Feature Updates
- Conditional rollups and lookups now support compatible formula fields from the current table as dynamic filter values for linked-record titles. This applies to v2 Link “is” comparisons with single-value text fields. Saved formula references remain intact when configurations are reopened.
- OpenAI Compatible providers, including OpenRouter, now support validating and using image generation models correctly.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Improved the accuracy and completeness of App dependency information for complex queries, including when query sources cannot be fully resolved.
- Fixed record restoration being blocked by an empty cross-base Link field when all remaining links are valid.
- Enforced the 1,000-character limit for single-select option names across creation, pasting, and field conversion. Clearer validation messages preserve existing values and editor input when an option is rejected.
- AI chat model selections now stay within the current space. Pasting full table rows into narrow chat composers no longer disrupts record chips, model controls, or send actions.
- Improved scheduled workflow reliability during application startup, preventing failed or incomplete executions.
- Improved consistency across complex query results and made query explanations more accurate.
- Clarified administrator role labels and related messages to distinguish system, organization, space, and project responsibilities without changing permissions.
- Moved the email verification resend action beside the code input to prevent accidental resends. Corrected localized number displays and field labels, including changing the mislabeled “Bar Chart” option to “Column Chart.”
- Improved performance and memory efficiency for bulk record creation, updates, imports, pasting, duplication, and upserts, particularly for wide records.
- Fixed grid AI generation controls and calendar dialogs appearing above open record detail panels.
- Fixed repeated access-denied errors when opening template previews.
- Fixed loading and publishing failures affecting apps created from older templates or copied apps, while preserving custom dependency settings.
- App Builder previews now remain visible when background preparation fails. Genuine runtime errors retain useful explanations, and dismissed errors no longer reopen because of outdated messages.
- Fixed embedded apps in templates based on older bases failing to find tables. Template publishing and installation now preserve compatible table names and relationships.
- Fixed permanent workflow and project deletion failures during active workflow execution. Failed cleanup no longer leaves partially deleted data.
- Sidebar unread indicators now clear immediately after completed conversations are opened. Prefilled onboarding prompts submit correctly, and switching Artifacts updates the URL for reliable linking and reloading.
- Template setup notices now reflect valid template installations. Connection and startup actions affect only resources belonging to the installed template, leaving user-created resources unchanged.
- Improved security across app access, workflows, plugins, queries, attachments, and dependencies. Workflows copied across owners may require credentials to be re-entered before running.
- Fixed copied projects and apps retaining references to source tables and fields. App Builder version saves now handle valid older query definitions more reliably while preserving unsaved work. Existing affected copies are not corrected automatically.
- Routine schedules now consistently use the rrules field across the web app, mobile app, CLI, and API. API clients must use rrules; the deprecated rrule field is no longer accepted. Existing schedules continue running, and older .tea exports remain importable.
- Fixed attachment storage usage in BYODB spaces continuing to include permanently deleted records after table trash was emptied. Usage recalculation now correctly reflects remaining active attachments.
