2.1.0 adds forwarding as a draft in Gmail and an opt-in Google Cloud Storage backend for attachments, so file downloads work on scaled-out and stateless deployments. It also restores the 60s Google API timeout that 2.0 cut to 30s, and fixes a batch of bugs across Gmail, Calendar, Docs and Apps Script.

New

• gmail: draft_gmail_message can now save a forward of an existing message as a draft for review via forward_message_id, carrying over the original subject, body and (optionally, with include_forwarded_attachments) attachments. See Draft forwarding by @taylorwilsdon in #1243
• core: setting WORKSPACE_MCP_FILES_GCS_BUCKET stores downloaded attachments in GCS and hands back V4 signed URLs (keyless signing works on Cloud Run), and turns file downloads back on in stateless mode. Fixes

• auth: the Google API socket timeout is back to 60s (2.0 had quietly halved it, so slow calls like large Doc exports failed) and is now tunable with WORKSPACE_MCP_GOOGLE_API_TIMEOUT_SECONDS. See fix(auth): make Google API socket timeout configurable, default 60s by @psh10066 in #1228
• gmail: attachments get their own X-Attachment-Id and Content-ID, fixing drafts with several attachments that served the wrong file once Gmail re-saved them. See fix(gmail): give regular attachments a unique X-Attachment-Id and Content-ID by @ben-ktt in #1226
