f6c1eb253 (#15401) Added bundle.windows.bundleVCRuntime to copy the Visual C++ runtime DLLs into Windows MSI and NSIS installers. The bundler locates the runtime through VCTOOLS_REDIST_DIR or the bundled vswhere.exe.
f76b1d3ae (#15644) The bundler now prints the size of each generated bundle next to its path in the Finished N bundles at: output (directories such as macOS .app bundles are measured recursively).
af465eae1 (#15619) Add a --no-binary-patching flag to tauri build and tauri bundle. When set, the bundler skips patching the main executable with bundle type information (and the subsequent re-signing), leaving an already-signed binary untouched. Patching is only required when shipping multiple bundle types per platform that should each update with their own installer format.

8e7028331 (#16062) Update linuxdeploy and the GTK plugin used for AppImages, fixing EGL_BAD_PARAMETER crashes on newer Mesa and bundling on Fedora and Arch. AppImages no longer force GDK_BACKEND=x11 and now use the native Wayland backend on Wayland sessions.
7164de395 (#15786) Respect an explicitly configured GDK_BACKEND in AppImage GTK hooks while retaining x11 as the default.
15468de79 (#16064) Recognize .deb and .rpm as self contained updater artifacts (the updater plugin installs them directly): the "no updater-enabled targets were built" warning is no longer printed when only a .rpm bundle is produced, and it now lists both targets. Setting createUpdaterArtifacts to "v1Compatible" no longer fails with "Unable to find a bundled project for the updater" when only a .deb bundle is built; the legacy updater never supported .deb, so the bundler now warns that no v1 compatible artifact was created instead.
