A small reliability release: catalog sync errors now say exactly what failed, and the update check no longer breaks on odd characters in release titles.
Catalog sync
- Clear sync errors (#1570): when a catalog fails validation, "Last sync problem" on the Premium page and
freeapi.lognow name the exact entry and field (for examplemodels[977] limits is missing) instead of just "catalog payload has unexpected shape". Refs #1566.
The Premium sync failure reported in #1566 was caused by one malformed row in the 2026-10-17 live catalog, and it was fixed on the catalog side on 2026-10-18 (live 2026.10.18.ff2e06ec). You don't need this release to recover: Premium installs on any version pick up the fixed catalog on their next sync, or straight away with Premium → Check for updates. The catalog signer now refuses to publish a catalog the app would reject.

/api/update/checkinto a 502.
