New: Google Drive Sync (GemiHub Connection)
Sync your Obsidian vault with Google Drive, fully compatible with https://gemihub.online. Edit notes in Obsidian and access them from GemiHub's web interface, or vice
versa.
Key Features
- Bidirectional sync with diff preview — Push and pull files with a detailed file list and color-coded unified diff view before committing changes
- Conflict resolution — When the same file is edited on both sides, a conflict modal shows the diff and lets you choose which version to keep
- Drive edit history — Track changes made from both Obsidian and GemiHub, with merged per-file timeline showing origin (local/remote)
- Auto sync — Configurable interval for automatic background sync with status bar indicator
- Temporary files — Save and restore files to/from a temp area on Drive for cross-device transfer
- Trash management — Browse, restore, or permanently delete trashed files on Drive
- Conflict backup management — Browse, preview, and restore conflict backups stored on Drive
- Encrypted authentication — RSA + AES-256-GCM encrypted auth via GemiHub; your password is never transmitted
- Exclude patterns — Configure glob patterns to exclude files/folders from sync
Setup: See docs/GEMIHUB_CONNECTION.md for detailed setup instructions.
GemiHub-exclusive features (via web interface)
- Automatic RAG — Files synced to GemiHub are automatically indexed for semantic search
- OAuth2-enabled MCP — Use MCP servers requiring OAuth2 (Google Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
- Markdown to PDF/HTML — Convert notes to formatted documents
- Public publishing — Share converted documents via public URL
