What's new
- Gemini Live voice conversations: Start from the microphone in the chat header, choose a Live model and voice, and speak naturally with interruption, mute, stop, and restart controls. Uses your saved Google API key; speech-popup is not required.
- Optional context and retrieval: Use recent chat context, read-only Vault tools, and a selected Gemini File Search setting independently. Vault reads follow your allowed-folder settings; File Search uses the selected stores and metadata filter.
- Transcript history: Finishing a Live conversation adds its transcript to the same chat, respecting history, encryption, and existing automatic-save restrictions. Raw audio is not saved.
- More RAG file formats: Internal File Search sync now includes HTML (
.html,.htm) and plain text (.txt), including uppercase extensions. Run RAG sync after updating to include existing files. - Updated English and Japanese documentation with a Live conversation screenshot.
Live audio and optional File Search requests use the Gemini API and incur API charges.
