1.24.0 — Web Search Options and Chat Saving
- Choose Gemini Google Search, Tavily, Brave Search, or Disabled in Settings. Only the selected provider’s settings are shown, and both external API keys can be retained.
- Check Tavily’s remaining credits on demand and view Brave’s remaining requests from actual search responses.
- Enabling Gemini Google Search now asks for confirmation and disables automatic saving for that conversation. A persistent notice reminds you to save manually. Turning search off or switching providers does not restore automatic saving; new conversations start fresh.
- Display Google Search Suggestions alongside grounded answers.
- Fix manual chat saving to respect the configured save folder, including conversations using Gemini Google Search.
- Keep normal automatic saving for Tavily and Brave Search conversations.
Compatibility: Gemini Google Search remains the default. Workflow, Dashboard, and Discussion integrations require Tavily or Brave Search for Web search.
