What's new
Story mode fighters
- Both causes of the out-of-sync matches with Story fighters are fixed: every PC now plays the same intro and poses the fighter the same way. They get switched back on after a final test with real players.
New
- F9 reports: after the picture you can type a short note about what's wrong (optional). During an online fight the report goes out at once, as before.
Under the hood
- More work on rollback netcode (still switched off).
How to update: start the launcher and click Update. Older builds can't play online after the update.
What you need
- Windows 10/11, 64-bit
- Your own USA Xbox copy of the game, dumped to your PC (see the disc guide). PS2 and GameCube versions do not work. This download contains no game data: the setup checks your dump and builds the game on your PC.
Install
Download DefJamSetup-0.12.2-remaster.42-windows-x64.exe, run it, point it at your dump. The setup is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may warn; choose "More info" and "Run anyway". Installed copies update through the launcher.
