- Phantom "Macshot: Screen Recording" notifications — the periodic capture-path prewarm introduced in 4.1.1-beta.1 was triggering the macOS Sequoia Screen Recording usage indicator every 20 seconds even when no capture was active. The prewarm has been removed; macshot now only reads the screen when you actually trigger a capture.

- Capture pipeline simplification — window creation and screenshot capture now run in parallel from the hotkey, replacing the layered cold-start workarounds added in earlier 4.1.1 betas. Cold-start latency is improved without any background work between captures.
