- Sketchy arrow style — hand-drawn-looking arrow option in the arrow style picker.
- Double-click selection to copy — double-click inside the selection to copy the screenshot. On by default; togglable in Settings → General.

- Faster cold-start captures — the overlay shows up promptly and accepts the first drag without lag, even after a long idle.
Fixed
- Scroll capture — the HUD has been hidden behind the overlay since v3.4.5 and the overlay was eating scroll events. Both fixed.
- Save As no longer hijacks the default screenshots folder — a one-off Save As destination used to replace the configured default. It's now a one-time choice (#168).
- Webcam preview during recording setup — the live webcam panel now appears in the right corner of the selection before you press record, not only after.
- Phantom "Screen Recording" notifications — beta.1's background prewarm triggered the macOS Sequoia indicator every 20 seconds. The prewarm is gone; macshot only reads the screen when you trigger a capture.
- Transient UI capture — hotkey captures preserve disappearing UI such as Raycast, Alfred, app menus, and the Apple menu.
- Focus returns to the previous app after confirming or cancelling a capture.
- Floating thumbnails no longer leak into the next capture.
- Preview Save panel — Save now brings its dialog to the front on the first click.
- Copy and Pin no longer replay the capture sound.
- OCR fallback — if accurate recognition fails, macshot retries with fast recognition.
- Video editor text — double-click editing keeps alignment and background styling stable.
