Added

  • Cut segments in the video editor — remove a range of frames from the exported video. Cuts are temporal (frames physically skipped) and integrate into preview, MP4/GIF export, and upload. Trim bar shows striped red overlays over cut ranges.
  • Speed segments in the video editor — retime a source range at 0.25×, 0.5×, 0.75×, 2×, 3×, 5×, or 10×. Shared buildProcessedComposition pipeline bakes trim + cuts + speed into a single composition via scaleTimeRange, keeping video and audio in sync across all three effects.
  • Right-click to anchor capture rect — right-click an empty overlay to start a selection at that point, then move the cursor without holding any button. Left-click (or a second right-click) commits; ESC cancels. Shift-constrain and Space-reposition work the same as in drag mode. Closes #127.
  • "Open Video…" menu entry — opens a user-owned video in the editor for trimming / effects / export without touching the source file.
  • Keyboard navigation in the history overlay — left/right arrows, Enter/Cmd+C to copy, Cmd+E to open in editor, Space for Quick Look, Delete to remove. Hover now updates the keyboard selection so arrow keys always step from wherever the mouse last pointed.
  • Dock right-click shows each window individually — editor, video editor, and preferences windows each appear as their own menu item; clicking brings that specific window forward.

Changed

  • Background windows no longer jump forward when triggering a capture — editor/preferences/Sparkle windows stay behind the user's frontmost app during a screenshot. Stashing only kicks in when another app was frontmost, so screenshotting a macshot window that's already in focus still works.
  • Video editor title now includes the source filename (or timestamp for image editor) so multiple editor windows are distinguishable in Mission Control and the Window menu.
  • Video editor min width bumped so the quality dropdown fits without clipping.
  • Video editor time label shows the actual output duration (post cuts + speed) instead of just the raw trim span.
  • Stronger default blur radius for censored video regions — previous value left faint shapes visible.
  • High / Medium / Low label in the quality dropdown now follows the UI language (was always English).

Fixed

  • Video editor no longer flickers to black when editing a zoom or censor rect while cuts are present. Player-item swaps are now guarded by a cut/speed topology fingerprint, so rect edits on existing effects stay flicker-free.
  • History panel selection flicker when mixing mouse hover and arrow keys — hover and keyboard selection now share a single outlined-card state.
  • Settings window filename templates now persist correctly across close/reopen (were reverting to the default).
  • Video editor status/time label placement when the effects band grows to multiple rows.
