- Video editor window — after recording stops, a dedicated editor window opens with video playback, a trim timeline with draggable start/end handles, and action buttons: Play/Pause (Space bar), Save, Upload to Google Drive, Reveal in Finder, Copy Path. Trim handles let you cut the beginning and end of the video before exporting.
- Mute audio toggle — speaker icon in the video editor strips audio from exports when enabled.
- Google Drive integration — upload screenshots and videos directly to your Google Drive. Sign in via OAuth2 in Preferences → Uploads. Files are stored in a private "macshot" folder. Token refresh is automatic — sign in once, stay signed in. Supports both images (PNG) and videos (MP4/GIF).
- Upload provider selector — choose between imgbb (images only) and Google Drive (images + videos) in Preferences → Uploads.
- Redesigned Uploads tab — provider selector, Google Drive sign-in/sign-out, imgbb API key, and upload history all in one tab.
Fixed
- Upload confirm dialog — now shows "Upload to Google Drive?" when Drive is the selected provider instead of always showing imgbb.
- Upload toast delete button — "Delete from server" button is now hidden for Google Drive uploads (which have no delete URL).
- Video playhead clamping — the playhead circle no longer goes past the timeline edges near the beginning/end.
- Video trim playback — play always starts from trim start (not video start) and resets to exact trim start position with zero-tolerance seek.
- Keychain prompts — replaced Keychain token storage with file-based storage in Application Support to eliminate repeated "confidential information" prompts on rebuild/update.
