- ⚠️ POTENTIAL BREAKING CHANGE: The code for the GitLab and Gitea/Forgejo backends has been moved out of the CDN build’s main script into the
dist/chunksfolder, and is loaded only when the backend is used. If you copy the script to your own site, copydist/chunksalong with it, or the code is loaded from UNPKG. Also, the transliterate library used by theclean_accentsslug option is no longer bundled and is loaded from UNPKG when needed, like other additional libraries. See CDN or npm Package. - ⚠️ POTENTIAL BREAKING CHANGE: A custom
endpointfor Amazon S3, another S3-compatible service or Azure Blob Storage must now use HTTPS, unless it’s on the local computer, so your credentials are never sent unencrypted. - With the Editorial Workflow, deleting several entries at once now opens a deletion pull request for each published entry. An unpublished entry that updates a published one can also be deleted now, not only discarded.
- Entry-relative media folders now work with a
pathoption like{{year}}/{{month}}/{{slug}}. The media is stored in a folder named after the entry file, e.g.2025/06/my-post/cover.pngfor2025/06/my-post.md. - A Hidden field default with template tags, such as
{{uuid}}, is now filled in anew when the entry or its List item is duplicated, so the copy doesn’t share the value with its original. - Fixed more than 70 bugs found in a codebase-wide review, and made other improvements.
