Implementation Details

• Calls with Bluetooth: Music pauses when a call starts and resumes if it ended within 2 minutes. Longer calls leave it paused.
• Headphones Disconnected: Music now pauses when you unplug wired earphones or disconnect Bluetooth earbuds.
• Voice Search: New built-in voice search that shows your words as you speak.
• HQ Audio Search: HQ search opens on Songs and loads faster. The All tab shows the top 20 songs first.
• Search Results: All search results now appear section by section instead of waiting for everything.
• Long-press Menu: Hold a song cover on the home screen to add it to a playlist or queue, see song info, go to its album or artist, or share it.
• Queue Chips: Familiar, Popular, Discover and Deep cuts now change your upcoming songs.
• Cookie Login: You can sign in to YouTube Music by pasting your cookies.
• YouTube Music Sync: Choose which playlists sync, or turn on YouTube Music to app only so nothing is sent back. Pull down on the sync screen to refresh it.
• Playlist Fixes: Synced playlists no longer include suggested songs, Unknown Playlist names are repaired, and playlists are tagged Synced or Local.
• Listen Together: Tighter sync between devices, and the host can hand the room to someone else.
• Home Screen: Album art no longer overlaps, tapping a card no longer flashes a box, mood chips show when they are loading, and scrolling is smoother on high refresh screens.
• Logged-out Suggestions: Better picks without an account, based on your plays, artists, languages and country.
• Sound Tuner: The AI Equalizer is now called Sound Tuner, with plainer wording across the app.
• Player and Queue: Added an auto black or light player background, the queue follows the player's theme, and dragging songs in the queue and playlists is steadier.
• Playlist Import: Public YouTube playlists import without login, and M3U imports are more reliable.
