Changed
- The config now requires
stylelintversion18.0.0or higher. - The
no-multiple-whitespacesrule has now been removed from the config. To restore its operation, enable it in your config. - The same settings are now set under the
@stylistic/scss/and@stylistic/less/namespaces as well, over**/*.scssand**/*.less. A file is read by the copies of the family it belongs to, so an.scssor a.lessfile is read as itself as soon as you tellstylelintto parse it as itself — see SCSS, Less and other syntaxes. A rule is changed or turned off there under that name, and turning one off takes every name it is set under. - The config names no parser and depends on none, so nothing is installed for a project of plain CSS and nothing changes for a project that names no syntax: such a file is parsed as CSS and read by the
@stylistic/names, as before. - The
at-charset-rule-no-invalidrule is now enabled, so that a CSS file holding a@charsetno longer gets a warning from the plugin asking for it. - The rules are now named by their short names and projected under every namespace by the
defineStylisticfunction of the plugin, rather than written out under the@stylistic/names by hand. Nothing about the settings changes.
Added
- The
declaration-block-single-line-max-declarationsrule is now added with the value1. This setting is taken fromstylelint-config-standard, which removes it because the rule fromstylelint18.0.0 moved to@stylistic/stylelint-plugin6.0.0 under the@stylistic/prefix. FYI: when moved to the plugin, the rule extended its effect to at-rules and received autofix. - The settings are now exported as
rules, by short name, so that a syntax this config cannot know about — a styled template, a<style lang="scss">block in an HTML page — can be given the same ones throughdefineStylisticOverridewithout copying them.
