The new PXPlay PC v2.0.0 is now officially released 🎉
This is a major milestone release and completes the full transition to the modern GPU-based rendering architecture across Windows, Linux and macOS.
The Android version remains on v7.1.0 and is unchanged. Its notes are included below for reference.

Windows, Linux and macOS share the same license key.
The Android APK requires its own separate license.

Version 2.0.0 marks the next generation of PXPlay on desktop.
All desktop platforms now share a unified GPU-first rendering pipeline designed for lower latency, reduced CPU usage and improved visual quality and with upscaling support.

📱 PXPlay Android v7.1.0 (unchanged)
The Android version remains on v7.1.0 and does not include changes in this release.
Version 7.1.0 is a stability focused update that resolved rare stream freezing issues, improved decoder reliability and fixed HDR display behavior on certain devices.
Fixes and Improvements in v7.1.0
Stream Freezing Fix
- Resolved a decoder memory fallback issue that could permanently stall playback
- Streams now recover automatically without restart
Crash Fixes
- Fixed rare decoder initialization exceptions
- Improved internal error handling
HDR Display Fix
- Removed incorrect internal colorMode flag
- Restored proper HDR color output on affected devices
All major features introduced in Android v7.0.0 such as FSR 1.0 upscaling, Smart Frame Recovery and decoder performance profiles remain fully available.
