This release of Cirrus Core utilizes release/1.0.5.0 of the Stratis Full Node and incorporates the below notable items:
- Resolution of stuck synchronisation for some users
Known Issues
Unable to establish peers and synchronise
This can be due to an old data directory that does not contain data relating to new Masternodes.
A resync is required to resolve.
Please close your instance of Cirrus Core before proceeding with the next step for your operating system.
Windows:
Using the File Explorer, navigate to %APPDATA%\StratisNode\cirrus\CirrusMain
Remove the blocks, chain, coindb, common, contracts, contractreceipts, polls and peers.json folders/files.
Restart Cirrus Core.
macOS:
Open your Applications folder, then open the Utilities folder. Double click the Terminal application.
In the terminal please type the following:
rm -rf ~/.stratisnode/cirrus/CirrusMain/{blocks,chain,coindb,common,contracts,contractreceipts,polls,peers.json}
Restart Cirrus Core.
Linux
In a terminal please type the following:
rm -rf ~/.stratisnode/cirrus/CirrusMain/{blocks,chain,coindb,common,contracts,contractreceipts,polls,peers.json}
Restart Cirrus Core.
Cirrus Core unexpectedly closes on macOS
Certain users on macOS are unable to launch the Cirrus Core Wallet. We are aware of these problems and are investigating as a matter of priority. If you require urgent access to your wallet, both the Windows and Linux based packages below can be utilised.
