This beta introduces Settings Profiles, allowing you to save and switch between different Thaw configurations. Profiles can be triggered automatically based on display changes or Focus modes.

Settings Profiles: Save your entire Thaw configuration as a profile and switch between different setups instantly. Perfect for different workflows, presentations, or multi-monitor configurations.
- Create, duplicate, rename, and delete profiles
- Import and export profiles for backup or sharing

Display Auto-Switch: Assign profiles to specific displays. When you connect a display, its associated profile is automatically applied.

Focus Mode Integration: Switch profiles automatically when Focus modes activate. Add Thaw as a Focus Filter in System Settings → Focus → Mode → Focus Filters to assign a profile to each Focus mode. The previous profile is restored when the Focus mode deactivates.

Profile Hotkeys: Assign keyboard shortcuts to quickly switch between your favorite profiles.

New Items Badge: A draggable badge in Menu Bar Layout settings lets you control exactly where newly detected menu bar items will appear. Drag it to position new items to the left or right of existing icons.

Option-Click Always Hidden: New setting to toggle the always-hidden section with Option+click on empty menu bar space.

Icon Overflow for Notch Displays: Improved handling of menu bar items on MacBooks with a notch. Items that would be hidden behind the notch are now properly managed.

Keep Search Toggle: New toggle in the search panel to preserve the search text when reopening.
Improvements & Fixes
- App Menu Click-Through: Fixed issues where clicking on application menus (File, Edit, View, etc.) would incorrectly trigger Thaw's show-on-click, hover, or scroll behaviors. App menus now work reliably.
- Event Monitor Recovery: Added automatic health checking and recovery for background event monitors. If mouse click detection stops working, Thaw now recovers automatically instead of requiring a restart.
- Layout Bar Stability: Fixed items disappearing from the layout bar during reorder operations, after reset, or when new items appear.
- New Items Badge Position: Fixed the badge jumping to incorrect positions when reordering other items around it. The badge now stays in place unless explicitly dragged.
- Search Panel Focus: Fixed the text field sometimes not receiving focus when opening the search panel via keyboard shortcut.
- IceBar Click Responsiveness: Reduced click jitter when interacting with items in the IceBar.
- Context Menu Size: Fixed context menus appearing unexpectedly large in certain situations.
- Secondary Display Support: Fixed right-click context menu not working on secondary displays.
