This release is headlined by community contributor @MrFruitDude — huge thanks! It brings a whole suite of new home-screen features:
- Home-screen widgets: add any Android app widget (Home Assistant, Chrome, calendars and more) right on your home screen, on a new free-placement, multi-page grid with a redesigned editing experience.
- Wallpapers: pick a gradient, a bundled photo, or sync the background to your screensaver (shown blurred), with an optional film-grain texture.
- World clock: choose which cities your World Clock widget shows.
- Home-screen timers and alarms.
Also new: your phone now controls every setting on the Portal. The remote went from a handful of toggles to full control of the screensaver, calendar, display, audio and Home Assistant config — grouped and tidy, with "Apply to all Portals" for a wall of devices and saveable profiles. Editing keeps your place as you type and tells you if a change didn't reach the Portal. Under the hood, every setting now flows through one shared definition, so the on-device screens and the phone remote stay in lockstep.
