What’s changed
- Fix Vips EXIF auto-rotation: correct orientations 6 and 8, handle mirrored orientations, and remove orientation metadata after transforming pixels (#335).
- Keep at least one pixel when resizing images with extreme aspect ratios (#334).
- Expand regression coverage to all eight EXIF orientations, opt-out behavior, and large JPEG/TIFF images.
- Update development tooling to Pest 5 and PHPUnit 13, test PHP 8.4/8.5, and run PHPStan on pull requests.
Requirements
The minimum PHP version is now 8.4. There are no public API changes.
Validation
PHP 8.4 and PHP 8.5 CI each passed with 569 tests, 22 existing skips, and 1,596 assertions. PHPStan and Pint pass.
