TautWeekly for Plex v0.21.2
v0.21.2 refines watched-marker placement and footer typography. There is no
configuration migration or change to recipient state, privacy, lifecycle
behavior, or dynamic inbox preview text.
Watched markers
- Main movie heroes and recent/new-release cards display the original circle
PNG at 16x16px, with 8px left margin, vertical centering, safe title
wrapping, and accessible Watched alt/title text. Unwatched titles add no gap. - The desktop full-width Hot/Trending poster shield keeps its 26x26px
dimensions, 7px right inset, 5px raised placement, and Outlook VML fallback. - Footer statistics have no watched markers, including personal movie
recaps and compact Trending. TV is never marked. - Original PNG bytes and recipient-specific watched-state logic are unchanged.
Footer styling
| Element | Typography |
|---|---|
| Movies/TV labels, recap titles, genres, ratings including TV IMDb numbers, TV duration | 12px; existing role-specific weights and line heights |
| Movie/TV count numbers | 18px / weight 800 / line-height 1 |
| Watch Time, Binge, Genre, compact Trending headings | 12px / weight 900 / letter-spacing 1.1px |
| Supporting summary text | 12px / weight 400 / line-height 1.35 |
| All four primary values: personal watch time, Binge watch time, Top Genre name, compact Trending title | 27px / weight 800 / line-height 1.1 |
Binge winner, non-winner, and standalone variants use the same primary-value
typography. The outer personal stats grid keeps the requested padding of
0px 20px 0px, and the TV SHOWS WATCHED label keeps margin-bottom: -7px.
Footer Rotten Tomatoes icons display at 16x16px. Other artwork/card dimensions
and winner highlighting remain unchanged.
Validation and scope
Focused renderer, watched-state/isolation, Binge, Genre, parity, and package
contracts enforce the new presentation. Representative active, quiet, winner,
non-winner, and standalone synthetic previews are checked at desktop/mobile
widths. The visual check measures footer text (including IMDb), marker geometry,
wrapping, image references, and overflow.
AGENTS.md now requires the smallest sufficient checks for the change, reuse of
passing exact-commit/tree evidence, diagnosis before failed-job-only retries,
and honest disclosure of coverage. Required CI/release gates, privacy checks,
package/checksum integrity, and publication verification remain in place.
Existing automatic CI suites are monitored; no extra duplicate full local
suite or workflow redesign is included.
Packages and limitations
Source baselines: Windows 1.10.2, NAS/Docker 1.5.2, macOS 1.4.2, native Linux
1.3.2, and FreeBSD/Podman 1.2.2. Use the normal verified update process and
retain private configuration and runtime data. Check downloads against
SHA256SUMS.txt. The Quickstart feature spotlight remains v0.21.0.
Classic Outlook's fallback is structurally tested, not natively certified.
Watched state still requires qualifying retained Tautulli history. Windows
executables remain unsigned. Validation uses only sanitized synthetic services
and captured email; no real Plex, Tautulli, SMTP endpoint, or real delivery.
