v2.33.17 — Events Once per Decode, Printable TSCM Report

Everything since v2.33.14 (2.33.15 to 2.33.17).

Before you upgrade

  • Alerts, recordings, MQTT and the activity feed now run whether or not a page is open. Before, they ran once for every open browser tab: twice with two tabs, and not at all with none. If you relied on alerts or MQTT only while you were watching, they now run for as long as the mode runs.

New

  • Printable TSCM client report (/tscm/report/print). Print it, or choose "Save as PDF" as the printer. The old "PDF" was plain text saved with a .pdf name. The text version is at /tscm/report/text, and existing /tscm/report/pdf links lead to the printable page.
  • The TSCM report now includes the baseline comparison and meeting windows. The report generator supported both, but nothing passed them to it.
  • Past TSCM sweeps are listed (GET /tscm/sweeps) and shown in the survey. Any completed sweep can be compared with the active baseline.

Fixed

  • Events were processed once per open browser tab. See above.
  • TSCM meeting windows were compared with device sightings an hour out in summer time, so a device seen during a meeting could count as outside it.
  • Drone detection reported "running" with no working detection source, and used an RTL-SDR without claiming it. It now claims the SDR, starts only the sources that can run, and lists the ones it started without. The source indicators now light.
  • With two Wi-Fi tabs open, each showed only about half the live updates.
  • Missing tools are named, with install advice for your platform, on remote agents (not "missing tools" or a raw [Errno 2]) and in SubGHz (a 400, not 409 Conflict).
  • TSCM signal descriptions read badly, for example "suggest may be ambient noise".
  • AIS dashboard DSC messages show elapsed time ("3 min ago") like every other list.

Removed

  • Distance estimates from signal strength. Signal tooltips and the signal assessment panel showed "Est. range: < 3 meters" and the like, from RSSI alone. A single receiver cannot measure distance: the same reading comes from a weak transmitter nearby or a strong one behind a wall.
