This release introduces server-side code execution capabilities and includes several important bug fixes for the sandbox, security quarantine, and Personal edition UI.
New Features
- Server-side stored scripts for code execution (Teams) – Execute pre-defined scripts server-side with batched parallel tool calls for improved performance in the code-execution sandbox
Bug Fixes
- Sandbox & tool handling – Fixed sandbox result shape validation, empty tool schema handling, CLI execution 2-second deadline, retrieve_tools response limits, and tool ID normalization
- Security quarantine – Resolved phrase-injection false positives in example labels and enforced secret-path parity checks
- Update channel detection – Auto-detect RC/stable channel from running build instead of user config to prevent update conflicts
- Telemetry – Made launch-source tracking goroutine-safe to prevent race conditions
- Tray UI (Personal) – Hidden Docker isolation option for URL-based (HTTP/SSE) servers in the Add Server form, as it's not applicable
- Tray UI (Personal) – Eliminated benign INFO log appearing as "MCPProxy Error" notification during shutdown

Installation Instructions
Windows
- Download the installer for your architecture
- Run
mcpproxy-setup-*.exe - Follow the installation wizard (requires Administrator privileges)
- Launch "MCPProxy" from Start Menu
macOS
- Download the signed DMG for your Mac
- Double-click the DMG to mount it
- Double-click the PKG installer inside
- Follow the installation wizard
- Launch mcpproxy.app from Applications folder
Linux / Manual Installation
- Download the appropriate archive
- Extract:
tar -xzf mcpproxy-*.tar.gz - Make executable:
chmod +x mcpproxy - Run:
./mcpproxy serve
