This release focuses on security and reliability improvements for upstream Docker-based MCP server execution.

Bug Fixes

Fixed Docker binary resolution for user-supplied configurations - Resolved an issue where the direct-exec mode failed to properly resolve the Docker binary path when users provided custom docker run commands for upstream MCP servers. This ensures more reliable container execution across different system configurations.
Enhanced security logging - Upstream secrets (such as API keys and authentication tokens) are now properly redacted from Docker spawn argument debug logs. This prevents sensitive configuration data from being exposed in log files when troubleshooting Docker-based MCP server deployments.

Both fixes apply to Personal and Teams editions when using Docker-based upstream MCP servers.

Installation Instructions

Windows

Download the installer for your architecture
Run mcpproxy-setup-*.exe
Follow the installation wizard (requires Administrator privileges)
Launch "MCPProxy" from Start Menu

macOS

Download the signed DMG for your Mac
Double-click the DMG to mount it
Double-click the PKG installer inside
Follow the installation wizard
Launch mcpproxy.app from Applications folder

Linux / Manual Installation

Download the appropriate archive
Extract: tar -xzf mcpproxy-*.tar.gz
Make executable: chmod +x mcpproxy
Run: ./mcpproxy serve
