Desktop-to-phone setup
The CLI can now reuse Happy Desktop's phone-approved V2 account through happy auth desktop,
so setting up desktop and terminal remote access does not require two device-pairing scans.
It checks account and server compatibility, preserves an existing compatible machine identity,
and waits for terminal session start/resume readiness.
Signing out of the terminal CLI no longer removes the shared Happy directory: native Agent
data, configuration, and local session history remain intact. Existing interactive terminal
commands continue to work.
Daemon health checks now allow a busy machine five seconds to respond, reducing false
offline reports. This release is built, tested, and published through GitHub Actions with
npm provenance, including a fresh installation check outside the monorepo.
Install or update with npm install -g happy.
The mobile app's accompanying desktop-first instructions are staged separately from this npm
publication; this CLI release does not itself publish an App Store or Google Play update.
