Overview
This release introduces database automations, lunar dates, and location fields, expands image recognition and mind map capabilities, and further improves editing, mobile, and AI agent experiences.
Databases and everyday editing
Databases now support automations, lunar date input and display, and location fields, while rollups gain relation item and context filters. Field visibility can be configured individually in attribute panels, and daily notes can be created and referenced by date.
Images and mind maps
Image file names can be displayed and renamed, and OCR text can be copied and edited. Local OCR offers a choice of Tesseract or PaddleOCR, and the image menu gains AI OCR. Mind map nodes support inserting and pasting images, with improved relationship arrows, zooming, and summary operations.
Cross-platform experience and AI
Mobile editing, database interactions, and block reference popovers are improved, along with Chinese input, search, and touch interactions on iPad. Desktop settings can open in independent windows, data snapshots gain date range filtering, and performance improves when working with large tables or deleting documents in batches.
The AI agent supports ChatGPT account sign-in and CSS/JS snippet management, with improved database view management and context compaction for long-running tasks.
